House update

Hi all!
When I last updated you we had lilac paint on the walls, a granite catastrophe and red mud everywhere.  Today we are seeing things turn around and come together again.  We had a cold front move in last night with high winds and very low temperatures.  So as predicted...
Here are the concrete guys setting forms AND freezing their ninny's off!  They plan on pouring concrete tomorrow morning.  Hooray for covering up some of the red dirt!

The painters are doing an amazing job covering the lilac with the perfect shade of brown called Ashbury.  I LOVE IT!
The garage door company came today and installed our garage doors and openers
There is a black iron hardware that will be installed after they are painted to complete the carriage door look. Can't wait to see them finished.

The best part of the whole day was when the electricians came and hooked up the main power to the house!!  Woohoo! We have permanent power in the house!!
Tyndell Electric

Thank you Tim, Luis and Danny for "brightening" our day.  Power in the house is always the most exciting part to me.  It means the end is in sight.  Literally "in sight", since now we can see what we are doing.  Ha!

I will update soon.  Crossing our fingers for concrete tomorrow.  The painters should finish up sometime on Monday and then the electricians will start putting light fixtures up (yeah). Wednesday is the new scheduled day for granite install and they will be delivering our tile and hardwood flooring Wednesday.  AND with any luck the propane guys will come set the tank so heating and air guys can come hook up the unit.

Love and miss all of you
Jeanne
